Filters (Fuel, Cabin, Engine)

Filters: Fuel, Cabin and Engine

All vehicles have filters, but not all vehicles have a cabin air filter, an engine air filter and a fuel filter. If you are not sure which of these your vehicle has come to Carz R Us for a complete vehicle inspection. We recommend the cabin and engine air filters be replaced every year, or 15,000 miles; whichever comes first. The best maintenance for the fuel filter is to replace it every 3-years or 30,000 miles. All filters are designed to stop debris and contaminants from negatively effecting other components. In the case of the cabin air filter it affects the air you breathe inside the cab of your vehicle. Relate your vehicles filters to your furnace filter; if it is dirty when you replace it then it should have already been replaced. The goal is to keep the furnace working without restriction or working harder than necessary. This is the same goal of your vehicles filters and the goal of preventative maintenance.
